We went with plans build since we enjoy fabrication and to save some money. There is no doubt that a kit will save lots of time. However once you make some parts the intimidation of messing something up is reduced since you can make another one. Don’t get me wrong there is still apprehension when you have a bunch of hours into a part and don’t want to mess it up.
